Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. Dyreværnets dyreambulancer, udrykningstjeneste og de mobile dyreklinikker, Frynseklinikkerne, hjælper udsatte dyr hver eneste uge. Derudover driver Dyreværnet også to velbesøgte hundepensioner. Viborg Internat er beliggende på en skøn landejendom i Ravnstrup nær Viborg. Vi modtager primært katte, men har også mulighed for at modtage kaniner, gnavere, fugle og andre dyr. Langt størstedelen af de indleverede dyr kommer fra henvendelser mennesker, der ringer, fordi de har kendskab til dyr i nød eller ejerløse dyr, der måske er syge og har brug for hjælp, men vi har også mulighed for tage mod private indleveringer. Alle katte, der formidles fra Viborg Internat, er chippet, vaccinerede, behandlet mod orm, flåter og lopper og neutraliserede. De registreres i ny ejers navn i katteregistret. Alle nye ejere opfordres samtidig til at tegne en forsikring, der dækker ved sygdom. Vi gør meget ud af at rådgive – uanset dyreart, og hunde er naturligvis også chippet og registeres i ny ejers navn, lige som kaniner neutraliseres og chippes og registreres. Internatet har åbent for adoption efter forudgående aftale – enten via mail eller telefonisk henvendelse. Det er ikke muligt at reservere en kat eller et andet dyr, fra Viborg Internat, da vi ønsker at matche dig med den helt rigtige ven. Vi ser derfor ikke på fx. kattens farve, køn eller pelslængde, men på hvilket liv du kan tilbyde katten, hvorefter vi – grundet vores adfærdsvurderinger af alle dyrene og/eller kendskab til deres baggrundshistorie – kan præsentere dig for den eller de dyr, som matcher dig og din livsstil. Personalet har en stor viden om katte og deres behov, og de efteruddanner sig løbende. Blandt andet foretages en adfærdsvurdering af hver enkel kat, så vi kan matche kattene med det bedst mulige hjem hver gang. Dette gør sig naturligvis også gældende for andre dyrearter, vi hjælper via internat og klinik. Vi glæder os til at byde dig velkommen på internatet – og forhåbentligt finde dit nye familiemedlem. Somos una asociación guatemalteca que rescata animales abandonados y maltratados. En nuestro refugio de animales en Jutiapa cuidamos a los perros y gatos rescatados. Les brindamos comida, atención medica y mucho amor para darles una nueva oportunidad de vida. Todos nuestros animales son amores y se merecen una familia que los ame. Queremos ser parte de un mundo mejor y por eso ayudamos a los animales callejeros. También buscamos nuevos hogares y nuevas familias para nuestros peludos y felinos. Las donaciones (de alimento, dinero, ropa, etc.) para nuestro refugio Corazones Jutiapanecos son vitales para poder mantenerlo. El refugio se sostiene solamente de donaciones. Aparte de tener el refugio, creamos conciencia sobre la situación de animales callejeros, el respeto hacia ellos, el cuidado que merecen y la adopción responsable. Visitamos instituciones educativas y damos conferencias para concientizar sobre esta problemática.
